Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009.  Thank-you for your continued support. 

At our annual meeting in November we picked up a new Vice President:  Ken Viel.  Al Benton accepted the position of Treasurer, filling a postion which had been vacant for a year.  I agreed to stay on for another year as president, Denise Chick, our secretary can be very persuasive!!!

We also formed a scholarship Committee.  We have refined our criteria and are creating our own application form.  We welcome Alumnus Gerry Gilbert to that group.  Gerry is a very active member of the community, I hesitate to try and list any of his affiliations, for fear I will miss one and offend somebody.  He brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and insight to our group.  Welcome Gerry!!!

We will post a copy of our Scholarship Application on the Website as soon as it is complete.

We are also working with long-time Association members and supporters, Mike Dubois, Sr and Mike Dubois, Jr., Certified Public Accountants, with an office on South Maine Street in Rochester, on finally becoming a 501 C-3 Non-profit Organization.  Stay Tuned for updates as we move through that process.

I will post  the four Board meetings as soon as Denise reminds me of when I scheduled them for.  Please feel welcome to attend any or all.
